Simple yet profound

You’ve probably been feeling defeated amid another wave of COVID-19 infections. Fret not, you are not alone. Most are still uncertain of humanity’s future either.

At the same time, I hope you always bear these three things in mind: your business, others’ business and nature’s business.

Your business

Never pin your hopes on anybody.

Commit to whatever you do wholeheartedly, and build on it if need be.

Set success or failure aside and make progress.

Others’ business

Only help within your capacity. So you will not overtax yourself.

And thereby receive merits.

Nature’s business

This should not be of your concern. Shifting circumstances are not within our control. The only thing we can do is adjusting ourselves to stay relevant in the changing times.

Don’t rue the opportunities you’ve missed.

Don’t lose yourself just because you’ve hit a bonanza.

Your anxiety will be better managed while living by the three principles above.

But why most people often fail to do so?

Because they usually mix these three things up.

Take insisting on nature’s business is what one could control or influence for instance. It only engenders unnecessary apprehension, which he or she cannot manage well.

Lots of problems are more often than not insurmountable.

To escape from these abysses, one must learn to let go completely; on the contrary, a pig-headed falls deeper.

Most unhappiness experienced and poorly made decisions were caused by such oversight and ignorance. A good many of issues have to be dealt with at first hand.

When you face bottlenecks in life, the immediate thought should be, “Who takes charge of this matter? You, others or nature?

Once you are clear about the answers, you soothe your anxieties.
